It doesn’t matter if it’s your first time travelling or your hundredth, there will always be that sinking fear that you have forgotten something of importance at home. It’s best, then, to always keep a travel checklist as to not forget your travel essentials.

Summer: It’s the perfect time for family bonding, you’re out of school, your parents have the Holy Week free, and are probably itching to spend a few days of their vacation leave to have fun and relax. Since it’s also that time of year when most families travel to far off places in order to make some fantastic memories, we’re here to help make that trip truly memorable for you and your family.

School is over (for the time being), and you’re just about ready to crawl into bed and make up for all those nights you were up late studying for this exam, or finishing this project, and whatnot. While we’re all for you getting your much needed sleep, know that there are more productive (and relaxing) ways to go about your summer.

Learning something new takes quite a lot of effort, particularly when you’re not required to do it. It’s very tempting to skip today’s lessons or training in favor of sleeping in, or binge-watching your favorite show. Here are a few tips on how to make your habit of learning stick.

There are many phases we go through when attending a concert. The “before” and “after” parts of the concert are as important as the concert itself. We’ve got some helpful tips on how to enjoy your concert experience.

SPEAK ABOUT SUCCESS

Mary Claudette Balangitan, 22

DLSHSI College of Medicine

I was that shy kid back in high school. I was a total wallflower. I didn’t know how to handle the challenges at home, school, social groups, and my own personal life so it reflected on me. After graduating from high school, I did what I can to improve and I’ve been wanting to break free from whatever that was blocking me mentally. So, I discovered this and it helped me realize that self-awareness and balance is the key to a happier life.

John Robert Powers made me realize a lot of things. I realized that I always had the potential to do many things that I thought I couldn’t. “Self-confidence comes from within,” I was told. The only thing that’s stopping me from doing things is because I always told myself that I couldn’t. I learned that looking good and presentable on the outside will help me look and feel confident, which is true. People will look up to me and think I’m confident and intelligent. My point is, as long as you believe in yourself, you can do wonders. I’d like to thank JRP for making me realize that.
